HOME SWEET HOME... The Girls' Room Tour

You know, I don't think I could ever tire of pretty little girls' rooms!  They are just so happy...

I'm so glad that I have three little girls... that means lots of girly decorating yet to be done!

And can you imaging the fun I'm going to have with their weddings!!!!  oh, the thought...
3 WEDDINGS...  (wow... okay, Amy, this is about decorating... not future weddings of now teeny tiny girls!)

Anyway... back to pretty girly decorating...

Enjoy the tour!  (and don't forget to peak back at some of the other rooms in the HOME SWEET HOME or Decorating categories)

If you want to see a few new additions to the room... you might enjoy this post, too :)

Blessings,

Well, if it ended up at the Etc. shop in town, then it could actually be yours! ...'cause that's where I found it :)

  10. I have no idea what brand the bunk bed is!! We got it at a garage sale... I'm not sure if it was supposed to look "white-washed" or not! We just took what we could find :) Sorry :(

  11. I would really like to create the tent(s) for my kiddos! Can you tell me how you hung the fabric?

  12. Basically, my hubs secured 2 good-sized eye screws into the ceiling... then using metal clasps tied onto the ends of thin rope, he pulled the rope tight between the two eye screws... make sense at all? It could be done without the clasps..just eye screws and rope... but we used clasps on the rope so that we could take it down/put it back up easily, without untying rope. Hope that helps!

  13. Hi! So I searched for bunk bed curtains on pinterest and it brought me to this picture...Love your girls room! My daughter just got a bunk and wants lights & curtain around it. So upon finding this link, I began to read your blog. My new favorite!! I love that you love Jesus, family, babies & all things vintage. I will definitely be stopping by your blog often. God Bless! 14. Wonderful! Do you have a moment to explain how you hung the bottom curtain?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Sure :) I simply stretched a piece of thin rope very tightly from one of the planks under the top bunk to another... and hung an old sheet folded lengthwise over it. nothing fancy! Blessings-

  18. By the way your bunk bed looks like one I had as a kid (I'm 33 now) from Ikea. If it can split into 2 beds then it probably is an Ikea bed.

  19. I LOVE the tent on the bunks! It's beautiful. I think I might go in the garage right now and find some eye hooks so I can make one for my daughter, thanks! Also, where did you get the doll house? Super adorable.

    1. Are you referring to the paper butterfly chandelier? If so, I punched out circles and butterflies with a paper punch then sewed them together with the sewing machine. Then I just wrapped those strands all around an old painted lampshade skeleton... does that make sense?! I also added in some ribbon and decorative trims. if you'd like to know more or have other questions feel free to email me! :)
