I used 1 coat of KILZ then 2 coats of a semi-gloss trim paint....now you can't tell it was ever stained!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1436011120539048590.post-35803262387265389262011-01-25T21:57:24.478-06:002011-01-25T21:57:24.478-06:00Happy for you Amy! I love that God knows all these things about us and takes care of all the details(like aqua colored walls:)) Ugh and I totally feel your pain with the trim, I have lived in AZ all my life and there everyone has white trim, it comes standard with all the homes. But when we moved to WA it seems as though the brown stained trim is the norm. I think we just taped down the carpet that butted against the trim with a couple layers of painters tape. But I think I had to give the carpet a haircut here and there:)Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13172899943476953848noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1436011120539048590.post-46453805968874552882011-01-25T16:44:30.902-06:002011-01-25T16:44:30.902-06:00Brad and I painted a TON of woodwork in our old ho...Brad and I painted a TON of woodwork in our old house, and we found something that helped a lot...we used an old license plate to press the carpet down, then painted the trim with a brush. It still takes forever, but using the license plate helps SO much!Malindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10496765908991868235noreply@blogger.com
